According to USAToday.com, 52 year old former NFL running back Herschel Walker thinks he still has what it takes to play in the pros.
The former 1982 Georgia Bulldog Heisman Trophy winner last played football in 1997 for the Dallas Cowboys.
quote:While he thinks he can still play, Walker said he's busy with several business ventures, and is not thinking of a comeback.
“I can play in the NFL today,” Walker insisted to USA TODAY Sports. “I couldn’t take every snap. But running backs nowadays don’t play every down. Now they send in the choir section.
“Physically, I can still do it.”
