quote:

“We’ve been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field,” “Johnny’s continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization. His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Cleveland is a place were QBs go to die. If you are drafted by them your career is dead before it starts. They never let guys develop. They draft a QB, if he doesn't take them to the Superbowl in year 1, they get rid of him and draft another one. Johnny can be a good, not great, but a good QB in the system. You don't win the Heisman as a true freshman without talent.

He will sign with Dallas.

He can't be any worse than the other backup QBs the Cowboys trotted out this season after Romo went down.

"Jerry Jones and Johnny Football conspired to make Manziel a cowboy. All the bad behavior was a scam. Cleveland got played."

Yep. That's it. It has nothing to do with Johnny Manziel being a natural frick up. It's all a conspiracy.

"...and the reputation of our organization."

They act like it was good to begin with. Manziel is just falling in line.
