Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones told the media Wednesday that he has been fined $35,000 by the NFL for ripping off Amari Cooper's helmet and slamming his head against it on Sunday.

Jones plans to appeal the fine, according to ESPN:
quote:

"It's way too much," Jones said Wednesday, adding, "$35,000 is a lot of money for a guy out playing football. But it is what it is.

"I'll appeal and if it gets appealed, hey [good]. If it doesn't, I guess I donated to somebody's college fund this year."
Should Jones be suspended too?
