On September 8, 2012, safety Devon Walker was paralyzed after a helmet-to-helmet hit left him with a fractured vertebrae. In a classy move, the New Orleans Saints signed Walker following his graduation from Tulane University. Even more, they decided to add Devon Walker to their 2014 team media guide...

Anything having to do with Walkers injury chokes me up. Life is alot more fragile than most of us think about or own up to. This could happen to anyone playing ball at most levels and he is a real hero. Kudos to the organization and always thoughts and prayers for Walker.
