Stanford wants you to know what they think of themselves. They just took home their 20th straight Director’s Cup, which awards points for every NCAA-sponsored sport. So they took out a billboard...

FYI...In the last 20 year's Stanford has taken home NCAA Championships in men’s and women’s cross country, men’s golf, men’s gymnastics, men’s and women’s swimming & diving, men’s and women’s tennis, men’s track and field, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s water polo, rowing, synchronized swimming, and women’s soccer.

Football made it to the Rose Bowl. Basketball made the sweet 16. Baseball in a super. I've never been a fan of the Directors' Cup but it's hard to argue with their success this year.

The reason Stanford wins the Capital One Cup and crap is because of this: "men’s and women’s water polo, rowing, synchronized swimming". Seriously?! Congrats on your Quiddich title as well. Compete in real sports and shut up.

I only hate on Stanford when USC plays them. Fact is, it is a fine institution both athletically and of course academically.

The SEC needs to improve the quality of their synchronized swimming programs.

If a country club wants to mimic a sports program then Stanford is the one.
