Kirk Herbstreit Comments On Playing Favorites With Ohio State

I don't fault him, but he's got WAY to much influence and is pretty skilled at making his homerism seem legit. I remember him blasting a Bama/ LSU rematch cause one "couldn't win their division". It was him that lobbied and caused UGA to fall from 4 to 7 when teams 1-3 lost, again because UGA didn't win their division. But when it was tOSU vs Michigan he reversed course, said UF didn't deserve the title game, um and tOSU clearly 2 best teams. They went on to lose their BCS games by a combined 85 points are so.

Anyone who thinks Herbstreit is a homer, never watched Robert Smith.

Herbstreit has done a solid job on ESPN. You're not going to please every fanbase.

Not sure why anyone gets upset at who these guys like. Newsflash.....every announcer/analyst loves their alma mater and secretly wants them to destroy your team.
