He's not alone

In Chris’ defense, he’s never seen John Cena.

John Cena? The actor?

I've seen exactly one thing with Cena in it. It's not impossible, in fact it's admirable, not to know who he is.

They just said “Brock Lesnar”

He travels all over and has to watch a shite ton of football/Tennis and whatever other sports he calls so he is familiar with all those teams when he calls their games. He likely has very little time to watch anything else.
