It's a myth that basketball players are always "the greatest athletes" just because they play basketball. Give me a few baseball players and they can do just about anything. Give me a few basketball players and they can usually jump high and run. With most, it stops there.

Which goes to show you that a great athlete doesn't apply to golf. Golf is the most "technical" sport ever know to man. Bo Jackson, who I consider the greatest athlete of all time, looks completely foolish trying to play golf.

it amazes me how someone with such elite athleticism in one sport can be so unathletic in another. I think part of being labeled an "athlete" is the ability to watch someone else do something and be able to mimic it enough to be decent at it, even if you've never done it before.
