There’s 1 Main Rule When Playing Golf With Michael Jordan
© Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports
The Michael Jordan golf stories are endless. Dallas Mavericks new head coach Jason Kidd added a new one to the bunch this week when he revealed what the six-time champion is like on the golf course...
quote:

“If you don’t know how to play fast, then you are not allowed to come back,” Kidd said. “With him, if you don’t play fast, he will leave you.”

“He’s a competitor. That’s the other thing, you get to see guys as competitors in golf because you’ve got to compete when you’re playing with the best. And when you know they’re better than you, you’ve gotta bring your A-game.”

Being rushed sucks just as much as being held up.

I like to play fast enough to catch the group in front of me. Then I don't mind the wait. It's the golf course. I don't get to spend enough time there.

I’m not a bad golfer, but yeah, there’s nothing worse than holding up somebody you are playing with.

I don't play slow golf but I'm not out there racing either. I actually enjoy being out on the course. As soon as I go back home my wife or kids are going to have shite waiting for me to do. Which is better?

How fast I play largely depends on my wife's attitude and demeanor prior to me leaving the house.

Would enjoy playing golf with him. I'm in and out and not there for shooting the breeze.
