76ers Fan Says Russell Westbrook Made A Comment About His Weight
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports
A couple of nights ago, the Thunder's Russell Westbrook was greeted with double birds from a very upset 76ers fan after a play. Now that fan, Richard Harkaway who a practicing urologist, is saying he was provoked by Westbrook making comments about his weight. Here is the 76ers fan's statement...
quote:

“As a part-time comedian I realize that my words and actions are sometimes inappropriate,” Harkaway said in a statement to Philly.com issued by a personal representative. “In this instance, after standing up to boo and being provoked by Russell Westbrook calling attention to my being overweight, my action in response was clearly inexcusable and I am embarrassed. I sincerely apologize to my fellow Sixers fans, the Sixers organization, my colleagues and patients, and to Mr. Westbrook for my behavior.”
You tell me...

This fan/Doctor is in full damage-control mode. Doesn't want his medical practice to suffer now that he got caught being a drunken idiot.

"Uh, Westbrook basically shrugged this guy off." No, he complained to the ref like a bitch for a full 10 seconds after saying, "he can't do that. You know he can't do that." Baby back bitch and everything wrong with the NBA. It's a pussy league played by pussy players.

Who gives a shit? Westbrook is a safe space pussy if he's all hurt by an opposing fan flipping him off. He'd need counseling if he played for Bama and had to walk into Tiger Stadium next weekend. Flipping off will be the nicest gesture they see all day.

No. In the first video, Westbrook isn't even yelling in the same direction he points and looks to later. Sorry fatass, you got caught being drunk and childish.

I agree. He's embarrassed himself, so now he's making excuses.
