On Friday night the Arizona Diamondbacks held off a late rally from the Cincinnati Reds. In the bottom of the seventh Cincy outfielder Spencer Steer went up to try and rob Tommy Pham of a three-run home run that would've effectively put the game away. Steer very nearly pulled it off... if not for a young Diamondbacks fan who robbed him of his home run robbery... (The Big Lead)

Steer wanted to be a hero, but the fan became a villain.

Move fans back/higher, or change this rule bc it sucks to kick someone out bc they caught the ball.

Throwing out a kid who obviously didn't do it on purpose? How petty!

Larry is actually correct this time.

Steer was trying to rob Pham of a HR and the fan robbed Steer of that opportunity.

Therefore, the fan did rob Steer of a home run robbery (can't believe I'm defending Larry...lol).

And I really think that it is absolute BS that the kid was ejected.
