Card's Pujols Activated, But Will Not Start

St. Louis Cardinals all-world first basement Albert Pujols was activated off the disabled list today a month ahead of schedule. Apparently, he has taken batting practice and fielded grounders without feeling any pain in his broken left wrist.

"He's not in the starting lineup because he hasn't had a rigorous workout and I feel like it would be good for him to get one of those and then play tomorrow," La Russa said. "I just try to use common sense."
