The Mississippi State coaching staff received some great news on Tuesday night when four-star dual-threat quarterback Jalen Mayden from Sachse, TX announced that he has committed to the Bulldogs.

Mayden chose Mississippi State over offers from schools like Georgia, Tennessee, Ohio State, Baylor, and Louisville as well as others.

The 6-2, 215-pound prospect from Sachse High School is rated the No. 12 dual-threat quarterback in the country and the No. 34 overall player from the state of Texas for 2018, according to the 247 Composite rankings.
