Former LSU center Aalyah Del Rosario has reportedly committed to Vanderbilt out of the transfer portal.

The former five-star recruit from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, averaged just two points and two rebounds per game this past season.

Whether she plays or not, she has a chance to get a stellar education at Vanderbilt. Nothing but the best wishes for her!

I heard she had a few injuries, but she never got into basketball playing shape. Not sure if that was commitment or injury?

It just didn't work out for her and I don' think it will at Vanderbilt either. She just seems a step too slow for high caliber basketball. I wish her luck though as she seemed to be a good teammate and tried hard to get on the court.

Yep, too slow, no offensive game to speak of, and made too many fouls (probably due to her lack of speed)

Always felt sad for her. She seemed like a fun kid who teammates liked, but I'm not sure she ever wanted to be a basketball player.

Good for her. She'll get a nice degree there.

A Physical Education degree from Vandy is the same as a Physical Education degree from LSU.
