They must have reviewed that play from Birmingham.

Calm down! The league office will send a vaguely worded letter to LSU on Tuesday.

One of MANY missed calls. As much as the referees are getting paid they have to make the right calls.

I predicted LSU 34-13. The officials stole 7 and Bk gave them 3. So it should have been 27-10 (not too far off)

How does sh*t like this keep happening, even with video replays!?! Everyone agreed that this was a Touchdown, the refs on the field (ruled a catch, Herbstreit and Folwer, the ABC Rules consultant… everyone except Birmingham!?! This just is NOT supposed to happen and has got to be resolved!!! It’s a travesty, especially with replay!

Exactly. We all know if that team was red, "Birmingham" would have said he was a runner and interpreted the rule differently.

Telling how it was called a catch on the field to the 1 and the review was supposed to be for the TD or not. Yet "Birmingham" said, hold my beer while I frick LSU once again.

The replay "official" will get high fives from all of his Alabama fan coworkers in Tuesday.

Bama (Birmingham) refs guys. We just need more and more points to overcome the handicap

Some real faux Death Valley stuff there.

Because refs suck. Basically all of them. To overturn that. Such was pure insanity.

Because that’s the rule. It’s a stupid rule, but it’s the rule.

Disagree, he was a runner crossing the goal line and there is no rule that the runner with the ball has to maintain possession to the ground. Only if a reception is made IN the ez does that apply.

Agree. The officials should be censored or lose a portion of their pay

100% wrong! It is NOT the rule. If the pass receiver makes a football move as the ABC official said, that makes it a catch and the ground can't cause a loss of possession. Also, he had already crossed the goal line by hitting the pylon which should have ended the play right there. The "stupid" rule wasn't even relevant in these circumstances.
