Jacques Doucet caught up with LSU star freshman Derek Curiel after the Tigers won the National Championship on Sunday to discuss the NCAA's decision only to play the instrumental version of his walkup song at the College World Series.
Later in the day, Doucet said the lyrics were removed "because of the artist (Kanye West), not because of its Christian genre or content," according to an LSU source.
