New Orleans Saints vice president and general manager Mickey Loomis recently talked about bringing former LSU Tigers Tyrann Mathieu and Jarvis Landry back to Louisiana.
quote:

"It's a little bit unique when you bring somebody back to their home state and their home territory. Just the excitement that both those guys had; they're veteran players who have been around the league and have been really accomplished for a number of years, and yet they're like kids when you see that excitement coming back home. It just meant a lot to them. It's just a different level of emotion than you normally get."

It just makes sense a person would want to play for the team that represents his state!! What is so hard to figure out?

The Saints should work out an alternate uniform color scheme built around mardi gras and feature the purple and gold. Not traditional, at all, I know, but it'd be pretty cool.

The Saints need new uniforms period! They've been in those faded gold almost Tan colored uni's for awhile now. They need to go back to the beautiful Gold uni's of the Archie Manning era, those were some of the best looking uni's in the NFL. But they take and change to this current crap. SMH They need a designer to come up with a new uniform concept involving the old gold. I mean teams like Atlanta have already changed their uni's 3 times in the last decade.
