LSU head coach Ed Orgeron joined the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday morning at said that wide receiver Justin Jefferson is "questionable" for Saturday's game vs Texas A&M but thinks he should be able to play.

Jefferson was not present at practice on Tuesday.

"He's questionable, Orgeron said. "But I believe he's going to play, I think he's going to be ok."

Jefferson leads the LSU receiver group in receptions (45), yards (725) and touchdowns (3).

Orgeron also said that freshman cornerback Kelvin Joseph will be a game-time decision vs. the Aggies as he is still dealing with a hamstring injury.

"He's coming on slower than expected," Orgeron said. "He will be a game-time decision."

Hard to disagree after watching the Rice game. Hope he works on it.

He’s been clutch all year. Hopefully he just had one bad game.

Jefferson has been the best LSU WR by far in every big game this year. He almost never has a big game vs the cupcakes, so I don't see any major problems from him.
