Two B-52 bombers and F-15s will be flying over New Orleans and Baton Rouge Friday on a flight path that honors Louisiana’s essential workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The planes will fly over LSU’s campus near the PMAC and Tiger Stadium around noon. Per The Advocate:

The Air Force Salutes flyover will include two B-52 Stratofortresses out of the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, and the program will start in the Crescent City around 9:30 a.m., according to a U.S. Air Force press release.

Along with F-15s fighter aircraft, the B-52 bombers will make their way to Baton Rouge around noon. The flyover will take 10 to 20 minutes in each city. Read more.
