Per LSUSports.net: AUBURN, Ala. -- Danny Etling's 15-yard game-winning touchdown pass to D.J. Chark was overturned by video review citing no time remaining on the clock, and LSU fell to Auburn, 18-13, on a steamy night at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

On the previous play, LSU (2-2, 1-1 SEC) was flagged for an illegal shift after picking up a first down at the Auburn 2-yard line with 0:01 to play. With the clock starting on the official's whistle, Etling - who rolled out of the pocket and found Chark for a tip-toe grab in the back-right corner of the endzone - was ruled to have received the snap after time had expired.

Les miles = coach if the year. Cam cameron = offensive coordinator of the year Guest Etling couldn't make LSU "great" again. This is what we deserve when we have a fan base that leaves games at half time, threatens the life of of a student athlete, and for voting against their own interest.

Barrett Sallee was right this team is a 7-5 or 6-6 team with miles as coach. Fire him now.

Would have been an awesome win. Playing around with the clock finally caught up with us. No natty this season. Tough loss, life goes on (hopefully searching for someone else to coach us).

No more questions from me. Koolade please. Purple not red. 4.3 reasons to act now. Larry can coach an offense better than this

a field goal game...Etling wasn't the same after the hit/targeting etc...he missed progression after progression.. he was either holding it too long or taking sacks.. and the poor clock management is old news...always been a fan of coach miles but the speed of the game has passed his old ways by as well as Coach Cam's knowledge of what is actually going on in the strategic offense world of college football...Cam and Les is from the same cloth send em both packing after the season... "Change is inevitable. Growth is optional."

Les knows what is coming. He did not live up to his commitment to change the offense. Defense cannot play the entire game.

To all those who support Les Miles: Are you pissed off yet!? Are you angry yet!? Because you dam well should be!? LSU has been surviving on talent. Soon the talent will stop coming. Guys won't want to play for Miles. Why go to LSU just to watch your draft stock fall!? That's what the top Louisiana recruits will start to think. Look at the transfers we had this year alone. Miles should have been gone 2-3 years ago!!!

Not a lot of Etling bashing like there was for harris. Even questioning harris IQ and throwing death threats his way. I wonder whats the difference is for the two?

he wasn't the same after "the hit"...looked rattled afterwards...made decent throws here and there but he held the ball waaay too long and took a few sacks he shouldn't have...

"I wonder whats the difference is for the two?" Etling is mentally tougher, has better instinct, and more accurate with his throws. Etling did not play well last night, but he was still a better choice than Harris. In Harris last start at Auburn, he was 3-14 for a QBR of 13.2

When you hold an SEC team on the road to no touchdowns, you should win the ballgame. Aranda did a great job, and he doesn't deserve any blame for Wisconsin or this one. Our offense is downright terrible (OL can't block, we can't get creative, etc). It's time for a change, even if it hurts recruiting for a while. There is no reason for us to regress like we did.

ummmmmm the defense wasn't that great... they held auburn to field goals but those added up to points which our offense didn't counter with touchdowns.. Third down plays that were short or long killed us...kept them in field goal range all night..i don't know what defense aranda was calling on third downs but the coverage was atrocious...

LSUYelleauxBoi please read what you wrote again. Our offense was so terrible they had great starting field position almost every drive. It's a wonder our defense kept them out of the endzone. That combined with the fact that our defense couldn't get any rest makes our defense look even better. This is 100% on the offense. Anyone who thinks any different has a very low football IQ.

still the defense job to get off the field is what I referring to and yes the offense wasn't near great by any means. I don't have to read what I wrote. I watched the same game as everyone else. I totally agree with schwartzy as far as keeping a team out the endzone, etc and winning the game as on that notion but the third down conversions are what led to all their points..the offense was definitely mediocre. as I said, Etling wasn't the same after the "hit"..

As a lifelong LSU tigers fan I will always support my team. I will always watch my team play, I will always get excited for Saturday, I will always sport my gear, i will always rep my team. Im proud of this place, im proud of the people here, I have experienced the joy and the disappointment that we experience due to the wins and losses of this team. However i will not live in denial anymore. The golden years of LSU football have come and gone. We have reverted back to the days when beating a florida would be a successful season. I will not get my hopes up for winning the west and getting into a playoff and competing for a national championship anytime soon. The big wigs at LSU called the play last year and couldnt execute. They allowed the head coach to stay, they allowed him to keep his best friend the Offensive Coordinator and they allowed both of them to do a song and dance about how things would be different this year and now this is the result. Always a tiger so I guess I will sit here and watch this train wreck until its over and repeat to myself the familliar old line.. "theres always NEXT YEAR" #makelsufootballgreatagain

Joe Aleva was right and we all should have supported his decision. But instead we allowed emotion and LSU president to allow this "circus" to continue. To bad for Tre White and Beckwith for putting their trust in Les and Cam. And know more Australian punters!

The mentality of this football team needs to change. NOW! Last year was okay. You saw LF smiling and happy to be winning. Harris wasn't great but he didn't need to be. A few big pass plays and let #7 do the rest. Well #7 is tired of it and every team knows he's coming for them when he's on the field. They load the box and stuff the run early. It's discouraging for the team and the fans. Etling is better than Harris and could be the answer but it's only one half of the answer. We need change. In life, if a man remains the same and doesn't change for the better, he decays. Same with football teams. Les Miles/Cam Cameron, I hate to say it, but you need to geaux if we want an offensive change. Our defense has been our only saving grace this year. Thank you Dave Aranda. And way to geaux Arden Key! #makelsufootballgreatagain
