College Football analyst Brett McMurphy of WatchStadium.com took to Twitter on Friday to get out his upset picks of the weekend.

One upset that he is predicting is Mississippi State over LSU. The others are Indiana over Penn State and Nevada over Hawaii. Here's what he had to say:

For those not familiar with McMurphy, he used to work for ESPN and was responsible for breaking the Urban Meyer/Ohio State news this past summer.

Let's hope he's totally wrong about Saturday's game between LSU and Mississippi State.

IMHO LSU’s recent challenges with MSU were directly due to Dan Mullen. And now that he is in Gainesville, the MSU game will return as it’s been pre-Mullen. But Florida is gonna remain constantly difficult

We need to better at tackling running backs. With Fitz as QB, it is like having RB on every snap. Our tackling in the running game was sloppy in the UF game and UGA game. UGA was better but still not that great.

It’s totally possible. LSU has lost almost every time that there has been a near unanimous prediction of victory.
There’s no possible way LSU blows out State. In fact, it will be a one score game, in either direction.

MSU is one dimensional right now. If we can stop the run and get an early lead I can see it being a blowout. The best part of being manhandled in Starkville last year is that the Tigers are wanting payback. Add to the fact that it’s Saturday night in Death Valley and no reason to look ahead due to the bye week and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if we blow out State tonight.

It isn't out of the realm of possibility. They have some losses but they are still a good team, with a pretty stout d-fence, a decent running game and decent passing game with fitz. I think this LSU has turned a corner and is going to be jacked for every game moving forward and we stomp them, but if we come out flat anything can happen.
