People really shouldn't bring this kids past up anymore because he's proven himself since then, a lot. He was young and immature back then, and was just a follower like a lot of us are at that age. I know I did it myself when I played ball, I would just smoke weed with guys that were always smoking it that always had it, and they would offer it to you. So, you went along with the flow instead of saying "No" because you didn't wanna seem like a square, I feel old now after using that word. Lol But you just did dumb things at that age without thinking, that's immaturity, and Mathieu was the same way back then. He's a mature man now, married I think with kids of his own playing a sports for a living and taking care of his family. He's a long ways from that immature kid he was back then.

Honey Badger is the best example of a young man owning his bad decisions and turning his life around. He may have been a divisive figure at LSU but has truly turned the corner.

Wrong! Dude wasn't a divisive figure at LSU at all his whole career there, and I don't know why people say stupid things like this. He was a great player and solid supporter of LSU his whole career there. He just failed and really failed himself by failing so many drug tests while playing, and this wouldn't have been news had Miles not been forced to release this info. Miles had no choice, and that was the end of HB's career at LSU, but he was a fiery supporter of LSU football his wole career there. I applaud him for not continuing to go down that path, and to turn around his life by starting to be a leader instead of a follower. I mean look at Josh Gordon who continues to stay stuck on stupid!

My favorite tiger to ever watch play! Literally could create a turnover at any minute.

One of my Top Tigers, just a remarkable player probably had the biggest one season impact of any Tiger ever. Happy for doing well, 2 knee surgeries, still a top NFL player.

I was one of his harshest critics regarding his personal bad habits. He has come a long, long way.

The most exciting player I have watched in my 40 years of watching LSU football. Great to see him doing so well.

I'm really proud of him. Cleaned himself up, succeeding in the NFL, and seems like a happy dude.
