Former LSU star and current Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu took to twitter on Friday to share some kind words about Frank Wilson who is taking the UTSA head coaching job.

CollegeSpun.com also found a screen shot of a tweet Mathieu sent out suggesting that Wilson will be back at LSU at some point.

There's a reason he's been a RB coach for so long, and never even a coordinator. This will go the way of Larry Porter at Memphis. He'll be back to RBs at LSU or somewhere else in 3 years.

RightHook, it's obvious you are only aware of Mr. Wilson through the media. But absolutely know anything about Coach Wilson the man, and coach. If there is an opportunity for Frank to come back and be the head coach at LSU. Then LSU needs to give him a chance, before another SEC School will!

Yeah, because a coach has never before coached at a small program, done a bang up job, and then moved on to become successful at a big time program.

It's never happened before. Ever.

i highly doubt a career recruiter who's never coached a tougher position than rb will ever be head coach at a place like lsu. i'd be really suprised if he even has one winning season at utsa.
