ESPN College football reporter Brett McMurphy came up with two scenarios to get the LSU-Florida game replayed this season that will require some help from the Sun Belt conference.

Both scenarios would allow for LSU to maintain it's full 12-game schedule and keep its seven-game home schedule.
quote:

Scenario 1:

-LSU at Florida is moved to Nov. 19;

-South Alabama at LSU is moved from Nov. 19 to Oct. 29, LSU’s current open date;

-South Alabama moves its Oct. 29 home game with Georgia State to Nov. 19;

-Georgia State moves its Nov. 19 home date with Georgia Southern to Nov. 26, which is an open date for both Sun Belt teams.

Scenario 2 is the same as Scenario 1 (LSU at UF Nov. 19; USA at LSU on Oct. 29) with the exception of:

-South Alabama moves its Oct. 29 home game with Georgia State to Nov. 12, USA’s current open date;

-Georgia State moves its Nov. 12 home game with Louisiana-Monroe to Nov. 26, which is an open date for both teams.
LSU would most likely also request for the Texas A&M game scheduled for Thanksgiving night to be pushed back two days to Saturday, November 26th.

Didn't alleva say no game before Alabama unless the tide have a game as well?

Why does this include LSU having to make sacrifices when they are the ones who went out if their way to have the original game played. Florida should be doing this.

This may happen bc Sankey knows he effed up, he could possibly pay the Sunbelt a chunk of money to do it.

So LSU is expected to jump through hoops as well as its other opponents and their opponents and make LSU go through a gauntlet road schedule just to accommodate Florida. Suuuuuure...when do we sign up?

Lsu isn't playing on the road November 19th. I think Alleva made that as clear as possible.

Why would any of those other schools help lsu? What a dumb suggestion. Basically your telling them that their conference is crappie and you'll need to bow down to the SEC.

My scenario and only way I agree to play them NOW since we offered to go there and play them all the way thru MONDAY after the storm which they refused. They pay off South Alabama and they come to Tiger stadium to play. Other than that I say FRICK you guys.

Best scenario - Forfeit for lack of willing to work with LSU when it mattered.

I see Brett is taking the reigns of being the worst ESPN/Sports "reporter", which is a really hard feat these days.
