Having lived in LR for many years now, I would suggest avoiding any hotel located south of I-630. Most of the hotels in downtown/River Market and on the west side of town are just fine.

CBS to show Iron Bowl Friday after Thanksgiving this year

Just saw on CNN sports that CBS will be showing the Iron bowl this year (and in 2010) the Friday after Tkanksgiving at 12:30 Central time. I guess this means the LSU-Arky game will be shown in late afternoon/early evening for a change.
