ESPN College football reporter Brett McMurphy came up with two scenarios to get the LSU-Florida game replayed this season that will require some help from the Sun Belt conference.

Both scenarios would allow for LSU to maintain it's full 12-game schedule and keep its seven-game home schedule.
quote:

Scenario 1:

-LSU at Florida is moved to Nov. 19;

-South Alabama at LSU is moved from Nov. 19 to Oct. 29, LSU’s current open date;

-South Alabama moves its Oct. 29 home game with Georgia State to Nov. 19;

-Georgia State moves its Nov. 19 home date with Georgia Southern to Nov. 26, which is an open date for both Sun Belt teams.

Scenario 2 is the same as Scenario 1 (LSU at UF Nov. 19; USA at LSU on Oct. 29) with the exception of:

-South Alabama moves its Oct. 29 home game with Georgia State to Nov. 12, USA’s current open date;

-Georgia State moves its Nov. 12 home game with Louisiana-Monroe to Nov. 26, which is an open date for both teams.
LSU would most likely also request for the Texas A&M game scheduled for Thanksgiving night to be pushed back two days to Saturday, November 26th.

It works. That's the exact reason why they won't go for it. This game was cancelled so UF didn't have to take a lose and LSU could be not compete for the SEC title. LSU no longer has the handicap known as Les Miles (I liked the guy, but let's be honest, he cared about the players but he's preparation and game strategy was terrible). This makes the Bama graduates aka SEC front office nervous. Like I previously posted, gotta keep their cash cow fed.

None of this will happen. Sun Belt will tell the mighty SEC to go take a long walk on one of Florida's Matthew-shortened piers.

LSU is playing at HOME November 19th - Period. Two scenarios: They will either play USA or Florida. If Florida doesn't want to come to LSU, the game will be cancelled. No forfeit.

Geez...UForfeit homer wants everybody to make an effort to solve their self inflicted problem...one with which a minor inconvenience to them could have been resolved during the week of scheduled play....fricking idiot

That's a lot of moving for a team that refuse to play on Saturday,Sunday or even Monday. Why should all these schools move their schedule around for the ducking gators?

I hope the game is played, so we can hang 49 on them

Brett McMurphy is a UF homer and a liar. Despite working, I tried to call in all afternoon when he was on FineBama and after he was on but got nothing but busy signals. FineBama should have called him out on his lying tweet but of course FineBama has no reason to being a Bama homer. FineBama being the host of the SEC Now show is more proof the SEC is run by Bama.

I see Brett is taking the reigns of being the worst ESPN/Sports "reporter", which is a really hard feat these days.

Best scenario - Forfeit for lack of willing to work with LSU when it mattered.

My scenario and only way I agree to play them NOW since we offered to go there and play them all the way thru MONDAY after the storm which they refused. They pay off South Alabama and they come to Tiger stadium to play. Other than that I say FRICK you guys.
