I'm just saying.... If LSU does in fact hire Tom Herman people are going to be extremely disappointed in a couple of years... CTH offense has serious flaws in that it is just a straight spread offense which I'm sure many of you on the board recognize will not work in the SEC (look up ATM) Although I understand he was once the offensive coordinator at OSU his offense now and what he ran at OSU has no similarities at all. Urban Meyer's offense is a spread attack with the power running game built into it... That is the only offense that I believe will dethrone Alabama in the SEC west. a straight spread just winging it all over the place mixed with some zone runs is just not going to work in this league... ijs

The use of an adverb prior to his denial makes me think he's lying. That and he's a football coach and they seem to lie a lot.

Yet another loss by Herman to an unranked Memphis team. He's sooo SEC ready! Lmao

So everyone believed Jimbo was lying 2 days ago, now Herman is lying. Lol The only one who fans haven't accused of lying is Coach O. Should hire him based on his honesty alone! Seriously, the people reporting this crap is the same people that said Hillary would win the election: The media! They make up stories to justify their jobs based on pure speculation. Alleva will call a press conference when a coach is hired and that will be final. No more speculation!

I swear I have serious doubts about Herman. Anyone who turns a blind eye to losses to SMU and Navy as well as struggles against Central Florida as well as Tulsa is choosing to ignore red flags. Now you have astruggle with Memphis brewing and some will make excuses for this but it is a part of a pattern and roller coaster ride that Herman seems to foster. It is a serious concern.

He's getting cucked by memphis presently. Add that to his impressive losses against Navy and SMU

Yeah, I'm sure his team is all in after all of this happening. You're funny. Team has quit, as has he.

I mean, why would anyone in their right mind choose a school that's like 7th best in their own state over LSU? If Houston really is willing to match any offers, in a lot of ways Texas would be a step down from where he is now.

This is just not true lol. Texas has three things Houston will never have. 1. Tradition of being one of the better college football programs in the nation. 2. Recruiting connections all over the state of Texas AND the country. 3. 4 and 5 star talent all over the roster. Texas and LSU are both in a very similar situation with very similar attributes that would draw a good coach to their respective school. I am very eager to see who is LSU's next coach. But I'm also interested to see who, between LSU and UT, gets the better coach if Charlie Strong is in fact fired.
