LSU (7-0, 3-0 SEC) remains at No. 2 in the AP Top 25 and No. 3 in the Coaches Poll after Saturday's 36-13 win over Mississippi State.

The Tigers will face No. 9 Auburn this upcoming Saturday in Tiger Stadium.

These mean absolutely nothing until the end of the year but I wonder how many ranked teams will Clemson, Ohio St. and Oklahoma play this year as compared to those of the SEC and especially those in the West? Bamas schedule is weak with some OOC games but even their opponents in the East are weak. But the bottom line is just to win them all.

I know this has been said, but why would Notre Dame be ranked ahead of Georgia? They lost to Georgia.

The coaches do not think/pay attention like the fans do. They probably hold more weight on the fact that they won the natty last year than the person who watches every single game.
