The College Football crew over at CBS Sports unveiled their updated College Playoff Picks and all have LSU making it to a semifinal game.

Three of those predictions have the Tigers as a No. 1 seed facing No. 4 Clemson.

Guys, I think this was their predictions IF THE SEASON ENDED TODAY. Not necessarily what it will look like at the END of the season.

I have a hard time understanding Randy's picks. It looks as though he is predicting LSU to beat Bama, but somehow end up 2nd behind OSU.

So if accurate then the LOSER of the LSU-Bama game would ha e the huge advantage of not having to play an extra game in the SECCG. Great system.

I imagine if LSU loses and doesn’t go to SECCG, they’re out. But if Alabama loses, it’s ok, they still make playoffs.

Actually, i'm betting these are all assuming Bama beats LSU next week and LSU still gets in. From what I hear, Alabama doesn't have resume' to pull that off this year but LSU does. Best of all worlds, is beat Bama, Win SEC Championship and knock Bama out of National Championship playoffs.
