The Buffalo Bills have released former LSU cornerback Tre'Davious White.

The Shreveport, La. native played at LSU from 2013-2016 and was a consensus All-American as a senior. The Bills selected him 27th overall in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

Back in 2020, White signed a four-year contract extension for $70 million, including a guaranteed $55 million. The two-time Pro Bowler suffered season-ending injuries in 2021 and 2023.

He was a top 5 corner in his prime before he got hurt. His body just betrayed him unfortunately.

Didn’t realize that he had been in the league that long. He should be set for life by now. Hope has some semblance of good health left and can walk away now.

He's done made a chunk a change though. Hope he's been smart with his money. And I think he has qualified for the NFL pension.

Tre was a model LSU football player. Always hard working, humble, just did what needed to be done and was rewarded. Was a top 5 corner pre injury in the NFL

Injuries and Josh Allen’s contract kicking in for $47M in 2024 made this move inevitable
