Sam Khan Jr. with ESPN released his updated SEC Bowl Projection after the conclusion of week 4 and he has LSU playing in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on December 31st in Atlanta, GA.

Playoff Semifinal (Cotton Bowl): Ole Miss
Sugar Bowl: Georgia
Peach Bowl: LSU
Citrus Bowl: Texas A&M
Liberty Bowl: Mississippi State
TaxSlayer Bowl: Florida
Outback Bowl: Alabama
Music City Bowl: Kentucky
Belk Bowl: Tennessee
Texas Bowl: Missouri
Birmingham Bowl: Auburn
Independence Bowl: South Carolina

Alabama in the Outback Bowl? They lost to Ole Miss, sure, but they are too good a team to wind up in Tampa.

LSU doesn't have the defensive line to make the playoffs. You make it sound like LSU has a chance to make the playoffs with this defensive line.

Bowl projections are dumb. All ESPN does is place these teams in bowls that correspond with their current ranking. No credibility whatsoever.
