The SEC Network panel of Dari Nowkhah, Alyssa Lang, Benjamin Watson, and Chris Doering updated their SEC Power Rankings heading into Week 4.

After ranking LSU No. 1 in last week's power rankings, the SEC Network crew dropped the Tigers to No. 3 this week, falling behind Georgia and Oklahoma.

The Tigers’ grinding, 20-10 home win over Florida apparently did not impress the panel. Even LSU’s coach, Brian Kelly, admitted the victory “wasn’t sexy” before adding that no one should ever apologize for a regular-season win in the rugged SEC. “Winning comes in many forms,” Kelly said on The Paul Finebaum Show. “We have, I believe, a top-10 defense and we will play accordingly.” Nonetheless, LSU fell from first to third in these weekly rankings.

It’s all noise and rat poison until game 3 of SEC play. Any prior picks are purely guessing. I get it that as sports beat reporters you have to print something.

Always laugh at stuff like this. What has UGA done? How good is Tennessee really? UGA struggled vs Austin Peay and Marshall (like we did La Tech offensively), and needed a miracle to beat Tennessee after scoring 40+. Oklahoma is good, but they beat Michigan by 10 at home. How is that any better from what LSU did vs Clemson? Also the other games were vs an FCS school and Temple. LSU has actually beat two P4 teams and if not for the refs, both would be by double digits. They played locked down defense doing it too. We worried about LSU's offense, but not UGA's defense? Playing Michigan at home and beating them by 11 is now better than beating Clemson on the road by 7 (should technically be 14), and beating UF at home by 10?

With Oklahoma's schedule, they won't be there long

Ressonable….I don’t think anyone considers LSU to be the strongest team in the country at this point!
