During the SEC Networks season preview for LSU, Marcus Spears and Matt Stinchcomb together predicted that LSU will finish the 2015 season 10-2, with losses coming at Alabama and against Arkansas.

Both Spears and Stinchcomb agreed that the Tigers would lose to Alabama but were split on the Arkansas game with Spears, a former LSU defensive lineman, picking LSU and Stinchcomb picking the Razorbacks. SEC Network analyst Maria Taylor broke the tie by picking Arkansas to win.

When asked by Taylor if LSU would win the SEC West with that 10-2 predicted record, Spears and Stinchcomb both said "no."

I'd rather take an upset loss on the road to Spurrier and finish 11-1 than lose against Bama for the 5th straight time.

Still trying to figure out just how in the hell we won the west in 01 with 3 loses. Is that the only time that has ever happened?

Yes, yes, you will.

"14-1 natty
Lose to bama"

No. No no no. We're not losing to Bama a 5th straight time. They are no better than last year and we'll be much better. Stop automatically assuming we're their bitch and have to be okay with it. 10-2 with a win over Bama > 11-1 with a loss to Bama.

he will get his 80% wins but lose the two that really count due to either late game poor decision making or player revolt.

Then who was the second loss that spears predicted. It says the both picked us 10-2 but that Spears said we would beat the pigs.
