Report: USC's John Baxter Could Be A Candidate For LSU's Special Teams Coach

NOLA.com is reporting that USC assistant coach John Baxter is being considered by LSU for the special team's coordinator job on staff.

Baxter, a onetime Tulane assistant, was named 2011 National Special Teams Coach of the Year by Footballscoop.com while at USC where he served two stints (2010-14) and 2016. In between he coached the 2015 season at Michigan and is regarded one of the top special teams coaches in the nation.
LSU coach Ed Orgeron and Baxter coached together at USC from 2010-12.
