Multiple sources are reporting that former LSU defensive end Barkevious Mingo has signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts. Per ProFootballTalk:
quote:

A first-round pick of the Browns in 2013, Mingo was traded to the Patriots last summer and played as a special teamer and situational pass rusher for the Super Bowl champions last season.

Per the report, Mingo will make $2.5 million on a one-year deal with the Colts, who figure to be active in trying to upgrade their defense and specifically their pass rush.
Mingo played at LSU from 2009 to 2012 and was selected 6th overall by the Browns in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Man I hope he finally finds the right fit with a team that can coach him up and use him properly. The Browns would have ruined Peyton Manning

Hopefully, he is saving his money! Though he has all the talent in the world he is undersized and that is causing issues in the NFL.

I read about him finally adding weight last year before being traded to the Pats. I also recall an NFL expert saying last year that the Pats had more quality depth on the defensive side of the ball than at any point in the Belichick era. Maybe it's time for Mingo to make his mark in the league.
