According to James Smith with NOLA.com, LSU defensive back coach Corey Raymond will remain at LSU despite recent chatter that he could be headed to a different school for another job.
quote:

Reports surfaced that Tigers defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, who just signed a two-year extension, was being courted by Texas A&M and Alabama for the same position. A source at LSU, however said, said those reports are "unequivocally false."

Raymond, who is quickly garnering a reputation as one of the premier defensive back coaches and recruiters in the country, is "not going anywhere" and is "a vital piece of this staff", the source said.
Raymond, a New Iberia native, played cornerback at LSU from 1987–1991. He has been the defensive back coach at LSU since 2012.

I'm glad to see that he is staying, and am not sure if there was ever a legit question about this. We certainly are stacked with coaching talent on the D side of the ball. Now the O side .......... another animal altogether.

I can't believe A&M thought they could actually just take 3 coaches from LSU's staff. They must be really butt hurt from that 4 losses in a row that they figured the only way they could beat LSU is by taking their coaches.
