After a month into the college football season, ESPN writer David Ching reviewed the SEC quarterbacks and how they have performed through 4 games this season.

Rather than rank them subjectively, we’ll do so by their team QBR – ESPN’s rating system that grades quarterbacks for their performances in all action plays on a 1-100 scale.
LSU quarterback Brandon Harris, who has only played three games this season, was ranked No. 5.

5. LSU, 78.8 QBR (No. 18)
29-47, 302 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT

Brandon Harris hasn’t been asked to do much more than hand the ball to Leonard Fournette, but he has made good things happen with his legs (117 rushing yards, 2 TDs) and hasn’t turned it over. He had a solid first month as the Tigers' new starter.
1. Georgia, 87.9 QBR (No. 2 nationally)
67-88, 934 yards, 8 TD, 0 INT

2. Ole Miss, 84.4 QBR (No. 8)
87-140, 1,378 yards, 13 TD, 4 INT

3. Mississippi State, 79.3 QBR (No. 14)
101-151, 1,214 yards, 9 TD, 0 INT

4. Texas A&M, 79.2 QBR (No. 15)
81-128, 1,140 yards, 12 TD, 3 INT

All we need to do is show a credible throwing threat which will keep defenses honest and give buga some room

5th is fair for now. With that said, I'm confident that if our running game is in fact shutndown, Brandon Harris is more than capable of putting the game on his shoulders.
