LSU has been picked to finish second in the SEC West behind Alabama, according to a preseason poll of media covering SEC football.

Alabama is picked to beat Florida in the SEC Championship, according to the poll.

LSU defensive backs Derek Stingley Jr. and Jacoby Stevens were named to the All-SEC first team.

Wide receiver Terrace Marshall, linebacker Jabril Cox, and placekicker Cade York and Derek Stingley Jr. (AP) were all named to the second team.

Freshman tight end Arik Gilbert, offensive lineman Austin Deculus, defensive lineman Glen Logan, punter Glen Logan Zach Von Rosenberg, and return specialist Derek Stingley Jr. rounded out the third-team.
