LSU returned to practice on Monday to prepare for this weekend's matchup against Louisiana Tech (2-0).

The Tigers had a handful of players that were absent on Monday but also had a few players return after missing practice with injuries throughout the first 3 weeks of the season.

Missing players:
Starting LT Saahdiq Charles (Badara Traore took 1st team snaps in his place)
Starting DE Glen Logan (Neil Farrell Jr. took 1st team snaps in his place)
WR Derrick Dillon
WR Racey McMath

Full participants who have been dealing with injuries:
TE Thaddeus Moss
FS Todd Harris Jr.
FS Eric Monroe

Position changes:
SS JaCoby Stevens was working with the OLB group Monday.
CB's Kary Vincent and Terrence Alexander were working with the safeties to add depth at the position with John Battle out for the 1st half vs. LaTech.

If it’s not due to Battle being injured, I think our coaches are realizing that he isnt gonna get it done all year. Especially if Monroe isnt healthy.

battle has been one of the more reliable safeties we've had in many many years. He won't make a lot of game changing plays but we wont cost us many games also.

Traore is first team at left tackle......he was the #1 tackle in JUCO....so far, I'm not seeing that.

We are going to need him to step up in a big time game at some point. So good for him to keep getting some spot duty, and hopefully he can begin showing significant improvement.
