To honor the late Jim Taylor this week, LSU placed his uniform and helmet in the locker room before the Mississippi State game.

Taylor, a native of Baton Rouge and former LSU All-American, passed away last Saturday at the age of 83.

IMO, the most underrated LSU player ever (in terms of his own fanbase). Was a HOFer at Green Bay in the '50s-'60s under Lombardi.
