Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Leonard Fournette was showing off a little bit of LSU pride last Sunday vs. the Steelers by wearing purple and gold shoulder pads under his jersey.

Fournette had 25 carries for 109 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 45-42 win over the Steelers. He is the only rookie with three or more rushing TDs in a postseason game in the past decade.

Last Sunday's win put the Jaguars in the AFC Championship vs. the New England Patriots this upcoming Sunday.

WOW! in fact, DOUBLE WOW! That's the greatest thing since draft beer and cheeseburgers were invented. This is seriously cool. You don't ever see any NFL player wearing Bama pads like that. My God I'm going out and get some burgers and beer and celebrate. Later maybe.

I saw that Sunday. I told my wife he was wearing a purple and gold T-Shirt underneath. Didn’t know it was pads. Awesome! LF7 is the man. That TD he scored going airborne at the 3 and getting hit midair at the 1 and still landed in the end zone! Incredible! I hope the Jags win it all!

Sadly you are correct. It’s a great “nod” to his school but the NFL will shut it down.
