LSU quarterback Myles Brennan is out for the Alabama game on Saturday, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Monday.

Orgeron said there have been some discussions about possibly shutting him down for the season as he continues to deal with a lower-body injury he suffered on Oct. 10 vs. Missouri.

Poor Myles, he has waiting 3 years for the opportunity to start and he sustains a serious injury in Week 3. Rather than allowing him to play, less than 100%, they should really consider sitting him and giving him the opportunity to decide on playing 2 more years! He had a great start to 2020, even with a patchwork OL. Sit it out and possibly have 2 more years in front of you... you deserve your 2 years, after all the waiting you've done! Good luck going forward... Geaux Tigers!!

As I understand it, this year doesn’t count against any player’s eligibility.

So what is the injury? ACL or Tua style injury

If it was an ACL they wouldn’t have expected him back so quickly at first

It's ok Zach Von Rosenburg has had the last 15 years here at LSU to perfect all 3 phases' playbook. He is ready.
