LSU will open the 2017 College Football season by playing BYU at NRG Stadium on Sept. 2 at 8:30 p.m. CT on ESPN. Per LSUSports.net:

The Tigers opened the 2014 season with a 28-24 victory over Wisconsin in Houston's NRG Stadium and wrapped up the 2015 season in the venue with a decisive 56-27 win over Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl.

NRG Stadium, which opened in 2002, features a retractable roof that has been closed for both of LSU's appearances in the 71,795-seat arena.

At this time, tickets in LSU's sections of NRG Stadium and reserved parking are available to LSU football season ticket holders starting at $40. Season ticket holders are encouraged to login to reserve seats by May 31.

I don't wanna get cocky but I am predicting a blowout. Not so much that we are gonna be well oiled or have the killer QB play we always wanted, I just think after shitting the bed last year our boys will have a chip on their shoulders. New coach, fresh legs and a for lot under their arse. Tigers are gonna come out swinging and I think we will hang 14+ in the first quarter leading to a real beat down.
