After suffering from severe dehydration last week, LSU freshman running back Derrius Guice was taken to the hospital but has now rejoined the team and is doing just fine according head coach Les Miles. Per The Advocate:

He returned to the weight room Monday, and he lifted the best of anyone, coach Les Miles said Tuesday.

“He’s fine,” Miles said, speaking after his address at the LHSCA summer coaches clinic at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. “What tests were done showed that all of his vitals, that he’s very healthy.”
The talented back from Catholic High in Baton Rouge will be ready when camp starts up in August and will compete with sophomore Darrel Williams and freshman Nick Brossette for back up position behind Leonard Fournette.
