LSU announced Tuesday that the Tigers 2018 season opener vs. Miami on Saturday, Sept. 1 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas will be a Sunday night game at 6:30 p.m. CT on ABC. Per LSUSports.net:
quote:

The game, which will be played in AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will mark the third-consecutive year ABC has aired a prime-time game on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.

The 2018 opener for the Hurricanes and Tigers will mark the first regular season meeting between the two schools since 1988 and just the third overall meeting since 1969. The Tigers beat Miami in the 2005 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, the last meeting between the ACC and SEC schools. Overall, the schools have played 12 times, dating back to 1946, and the Tigers own a 9-3 advantage in those matchups.

Why would we want Richt? He's not exactly tearing it up at Miami.

Even if the NFL had a game on Sunday night (which it won't), I would not watch it. The NFL is has no backbone when standing up for The Flag and National Anthem. No more NFL for me unless the Saints make it to the Super Bowl. USAF!

Why do we keep playing difficult out of conference games in Tejas? That state has already hurt LA enough financially. Play a damn home and away instead of this crap.

One word. Money! Both teams will be paid handsomely!

Just read on Dandy Don that LSU will be paid $4.75 million to play this game. Hard to turn that down.

No kidding. And we will have lost 2 starting RB's and 2 to 3 linebackers mainly Devon White. Better get some really good JUCO's for the lines. Not just any JUCO's either.
