Multiple sources are reporting that LSU freshman wide receiver Malachi Dupre is dealing with an injury and will not travel with the team to Houston for Saturday's season opener against Wisconsin.

On top of the ankle injury, sources say Dupre has also been dealing with an hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined for a portion of fall camp.

Hes soft in the sense that he isn't traveling because of it... I've broken my ankle completely and just rolled with crutches and a boot. Ya I get that altitude can swell up an injury more but I doubt that's a factor. Having a sprained ankle in general is not soft.

Sprained ankle could take as long as a month to be football ready again depending on the severity. No need to call him soft for this.
