LSU backup wide receiver Alex Adam announced Tuesday night that he will be transferring to Akron where he will link up with former Mississippi State head coach Joe Moorehead, who recruited him out of high school.

Adams, a sophomore from Osyka, Miss., has caught 2 passes for 11 yards over the last two seasons.

I am sort of over the committed proclamations of the recently decommitted and the long announcements for early departure/transfer.

I wonder where he will go after Akron when he finds out that it gets below 0 in the winters.

Good luck to him. Hope he gets lots of playing time and has success.

He wasn't getting much playing time. I don't mind a guy leaving for more PT especially if you're getting past up on the depth chart. Go someplace where you have a chance to play. Wish him well.
