Ed Orgeron announced Tuesday night that tight end Jamal Pettigrew has not practiced all camp as he is out with an injury he suffered in the summer.

Orgeron wasn't sure as to when Pettigrew will be able to return.

Pettigrew, a junior from New Orleans (Saint Augustine) tore his ACL last July during a non-contact workout and missed the entire 2018 season.

He played in all 13 games in 2017 as a redshirt freshman.

What part of his body did he hurt over the summer? What’s the big secret?

Rub some dirt on it and get back out there.

Between him and Moss there could be a challenge up for most consistently inconsistent that we are unaware of. Hopefully someone steps up would like to see a TE in the field that can catch some damn balls and not always be asked to block.

Best wishes to him for a full and speedy recovery.

The early reports seem to show Moss is healthy and doing well at practice. It looks like Pettigrew is just one of those unlucky injury prone players. I truly hope this isn't the case and things change for him.

Tough to see injuries take a kids college career from him before it even starts

Now I'm not so sure Jamal Pettigrew even exists.
