LSU starting left tackle Dare Rosenthal is "questionable" for Saturday's game vs. Vanderbilt, Ed Orgeron said during Tuesday morning interview on ESPN's 104.5 "Off The Bench"

Rosenthal suffered an injury in the season opener vs. Mississippi State and will not practice on Tuesday, according to Orgeron. Per The Advocate:

Orgeron also said starting left tackle Dare Rosenthal is "questionable" for the Vanderbilt game. The 6-foot-7, 327-pound sophomore went down late in the Mississippi State game, and Orgeron said Rosenthal will not practice today and his status will be more clear by the end of the week.

Freshman Xavier Hill was the second-team left tackle during pregame warmups on Saturday, although sophomore Cameron Wire, who played in six games in 2019, would likely be the more experienced option.

Damnit. One week and we can’t keep a healthy line and blindside blocker at that

His blocking was questionable last weekend

Wow, Rosenthal was our lowest graded OL against MSU and now we have to go to the guy who he beat out or shuffle around guys. If I was the D Coordinator at Vandy I would sell out and blitz Brennan every play. Use his panic and lack of confidence against him.

Hope he gets healthy. However, in all fairness, you could have sit a chair in his place and got the same results. Who in the hell coach these defensive and offensive linemen? Damn disgrace.

If hes out on Saturday, it might be addition by subtract.

That’s what I was thinking too. Hope he’s ok but we might want to try someone else at that spot.

Guess we'll have to play two tight ends and forget the extra receivers?
