LSU QB Stephen Rivers to transfer in May after he graduates

According to San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers in this ESPN.com article, his younger brother and current LSU quarterback, Stephen Rivers plans to transfer from LSU:
#1 Rob Bolden 6-4 209 Jr. RS Orchard Lake, Mich. (Orchard Lake St. Mary's HS/Penn St.)
#8 Zach Mettenberger 6-5 235 Sr. 2L Watkinsville, Ga. (Oconee County HS/Butler CC)
#10 Anthony Jennings 6-2 211 Fr. HS Marietta, Ga. (Marietta HS)
#11 Hayden Rettig 6-3 205 Fr. HS Los Angeles, Calif. (Cathedral HS)
#13 Jake Clise 6-2 202 Fr. HS Baltimore, Md. (Loyola Blakefield HS)
#16 Brad Kragthorpe 6-0 177 So. SQ Tulsa, Okla. (Holland Hall HS/Idaho St.)
#17 Stephen Rivers 6-7 223 So. SQ Athens, Ala. (Athens HS)
LSU also signed 4-Star recruit Brandon Harris to the 2014 class this offseason. Harris is a Dual-Threat quarterback from Bossier City, LA (Parkway).

Rivers also said that his younger brother, Stephen, has been cleared by LSU to transfer. At 6-foot-7 and 230 pounds, Stephen Rivers will have two years of eligibility, and can play next year because he graduates in May.
Rivers said his brother is transferring because he’s more of a dropback quarterback, and LSU’s offense will feature read-option plays that require more a runner at quarterback.
